Founded on Human Factors principles, Hudson Global Consulting has been active in Aviation since 1961, when its founder was employed in developing simulators.

Aviation has been a steady presence in the portfolio, with Patrick Hudson leading the charge of bringing Safety Management Systems (SMS) into Commercial Aviation. Now codified as Annex 19, SMS has been taught by HGC at the Singapore Aviation Academy since 2003. 

In a broader scope HGC has helped Aviation organisations spanning from ICAO and national Regulators to four airframe High Risk operations operating in Afghanistan.
